The main characters of the crosswords are fascinating creatures from the bird and animal kingdoms. From this magazine you will gain new knowledge and heaps of positive emotions! The magazine is published in the second week of every month and can also be ordered to your home. The annual Kuma Great Cat and Dog Calendar supports homeless animals with 10 cents from every calendar sold.

Why might a company lend a helping hand to shelter animals?
We see that people take the stories of our charges very much to heart; they care about them and donate to help them. But the shelters are full of animals in distress, and private individuals, even with the best of intentions, cannot help them all.

On average we need 1500 euros a day to care for the residents of our 7 shelters and animal welfare centre.
- €1000 helps prepare 10 animals for their move to a new home: microchipping, vaccinating and spaying-neutering them.
- €500 helps cover the treatment costs of one animal with a complicated health problem and get it back on its feet.
- €100 allows us to feed the animals in our care for 3 days.
The activities of Varjupaikade MTÜ are followed by over 23,000 people on social media, and each year 270,000
people view our website 3,000,000
