Home Seeker

Home Seeker is a positive and proactive programme created by Varjupaikade MTÜ that helps find animals a new home without them having to end up in a shelter in the meantime. We were led to the programme by the ever-growing number of animals surrendered by their owners at our shelters.

When families and animals come together directly, we spare the animals the stress of the shelter and keep shelter places for those who need them most.

Who is Home Seeker for?

• Animal owners who are forced to give up their pet and wish to find it a new, caring home themselves.
• Prospective adopters who wish to offer a home to an animal that has not yet ended up in a shelter.

How does it work?

On this page we gather animals for whom their current owners are looking for a new home directly. Each listing includes a description of the animal, photos and a contact to reach out to.
